Gillette Z-3 Super Speed Flare Tip
    Ladas Super Stainless (2)
B-400 by Tom handle & Envy White supreme two-band knot
Hendrix Classics & Co. soap (3)
Alum, Thayers Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Floid Vigoroso

I enjoyed another nice two-pass shave with this setup. I'm making a conscious effort to take my time with every step of the process from prep to finish, especially with the skin stretching. It allows me to get a very close and irritation free shave in two passes with a razor that many would consider to be too mild. I wonder how much gear has been purchased and later sold or given away because folks never really took their time to learn proper technique. This has certainly applied to me. I've been at this for awhile now, and it's always fun to discover something new from my friends here that improves my technique. The latest thing I've noticed is that many of you spend the time to make super goop lather. I face lather exclusively, and this has caused me to spend more time with this part of the process. I get a much better lather and better face prep as a result.

I broke out the Floid Vigoroso for a nice powdery menthol finish this morning. The week and this thread are moving fast. I have enjoyed all the conversation, as well as all the wonderful gear and reports. I'm genuinely thankful for you all, except maybe one or two of you. :D

    Have a great day, gentlemen.

Thank you, Bruce! I really like this brush. It is a bit smaller than the Atomic Rocket, and the knot itself is quite a bit different. It is in between the Cashmere knot and the Plissoft, so it is a well balanced knot, IMO.

My first expensive modern razor was the Mongoose which used a artist club blades. During the first year I used that razor for over half my shaves. In the end, I love ac razors and the blades.

    Thank you.

Thank you Bruce. I am in my office today so the commute was much easier. Plus the day should be a little less stressful.

Wonderful shave this morning with the Stoylin brush(li'l brudder) and DeluxeShaving British Racing Green. Best loading I've done since joining TSD. BRG has always worked well with the Avon Tribute. Interestingly, I'm on pace to possibly finish both at the same time.
