Say what? Less blades now! https://gizmodo.com/gillettes-latest-innovation-is-removing-blades-from-raz-1830288715/amp
The marketing is creative, to say the least. But it doesn't matter what Gillette comes up with, I would never go back to a cartridge.
I have to admit it takes balls, but I guess they had to head in a different direction. You can't just keep adding blades, especially when there are more and more articles on mens mag/websites suggesting heading back in time to single blades could make your shaves more comfortable.
I'm guessing that this throws out the classic image of the Trac II where the first blade stretches out the whisker and the second one slices it off before it snaps back.
It would be funny if the marketing didn't actually work, but it will. It always does. If a man can't get BBS with a Trac II, he doesn't know how or simply doesn't want to.
So 2 blades are better than 1 but 3-5 blades are worse than 2? Looking forward to the commercials explaining this. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Why not just sell them with 1 - 12 blades. Charge for 12 blades but offer to remove however many you like for no extra charge ??
"Pfft. Newer and shinier is ALWAYS better, everybody knows that." -- far, far too many people today, eagerly awaiting the Gillette MetroBlade with lubricating glitter strip
