Keith, if you had to select your top 5 colognes, what would they be and why? I'm always amazed at the variety of your scent collection.

You're killing me, Jim. That's the best looking modern SE razor I've ever seen. Your beautiful photos and reports on its fantastic performance are not helping, either. I wonder if Blackland will offer any deals on Black Friday?

In case anyone is wondering, I'm a completionist when it comes to my stock of AC blades.

    I love kids...and kid videos....apparently, Paul. :)

Seriously, I just love the innocent and unfiltered way that children communicate. It's so genuine and special. Sadly, most adults either lose their ability or simply choose not to communicate in this way. I'm 100% convinced that we all still have that small child trapped within us, straining to get out. Stepping off the soap box now...

    Thanks, Charlie.
I agree with you on the looks. The narrow head that @ShaneS designed makes for a sleek look.

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

I discovered AOS shortly after I started traditional shaving totally by accident. I was selling ADT at the time and we had a table set up at the Galleria Mall and it happened to be right in front of AOS. I was immediately thrilled and walked in to check it out, which meant I was immediately less than thrilled when I saw their prices and found out their emphasis on handles for the Fusion. Even as a newbie I was already an anti-cart snob. LOL They also had a barbershop in the store. Fully stocked sink with barber chair where a real barber would give shaves and help teach about how to lather and such. The problem - they didn't have a barber there. Ever, that I know of. I did get a few free samples from them and I tried them. They worked. I have no idea if they're still there as I rarely go to that mall. I did check out the razors they were offering. Then went online to find them on ebay and other places. Talk about inflated prices. But, they did/do get some people started so there's that.

I repeated with the Rise(shave) and TSD Russian Leather(A.S.)combo this morning. They work well in concert with one another.

Great photo and shave Jim. Try a Feather Pro Super in the razor. It should have provide more blade feel and aggressiveness.

A truly excellent shave this morning. I decided to abandon the beehive brushes for the remainder of the month. @wristwatchb inspired me with the idea to use a different brush each day. Now that we are 10 days into the month, I will go with the no repeat brush theme for the remainder of November. Up today is the WWB 30mm Tuxedo. This thing literally devours soap and completed destroyed the remaining Stirling Bay Rum sample. The O.R.E.N. looks like a cross of the OneBlade and Cobra Classic. One it lacks in looks, the OREN makes up for in shaving. Two passes, ATG followed by XTG had the baby in sight. So I lathered up for a 3rd pass and ended up with a truly Epic shave. Rewarding myself I went with Krampert's Finest followed by Dominica Grand Bay. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

I have some Feather Pro supers. I'll use one when this blade's finished. The concensus seems to be that the AC blades last longer. Third shave with the Pro and I felt no deterioration.
My comments about how smooth the razor feels isn't a complaint. I quite enjoy it.
    Have a great weekend.
