    NCoxSTL AAACK!

No doubt in my mind. I have always looked sideways at all of the "skin guard" strips, and other such items on carts and disposables. Seems like the "lubricating strips" are always on the top of the blades, meaning as you shave the blades do the cutting and THEN the lubrication appears. Seems backwards. But, people pay more for the benefit of getting no real benefit I suppose. One of the benefits of marketing.

That's a nice container of soap that Mystic Water uses.

I remember him commenting that the scents needed to be fairly strong to cover up the mutton smell. I can detect the mutton in the Electric Sheep and Scott's Pine scents, maybe not so much in the Glastonbury. I can see that the mutton might overpower quite a few scents.

It's been a fairly lazy day around here today, so it has been a no shave day. I hope everyone has had a great day!

Speaking of Cookies...I assume the official hotel of the cartel must be:

They offer me the most delicious cookies whenever I check in...By far one of the best I've had...so much so...I think I eat at least 6 or more per visit...:eatdrink020:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who wondered why the lubrication strips are after the blades. Never did make any sense.

Finally got caught back up reading through the posts. Lots of great reports and photos, as usual, fellas!
Made a fair amount of progress tiling the shower today. One last "obstacle" - the last of the four shelves - to work around...after that it should be smooth sailing and go much faster.
After a much needed shower, I got my shave in. Finished off the sample puck of Stirling Piacenza - a scent that I enjoyed, and might end up getting reordered in a full puck at some point.
My WCS order showed up in the mailbox today - Noble Otter Flying Hide soap & aftershave, and Fine Santal Absolut.
After my shave I splashed on the Santal Absolut....wifey approved!
    Have a great evening, gents!

It is a very nice container. I am sure Joseph put the MW in that container. MW is shipped in a plastic container, replacement puck or shave stick.

Congrats finishing off your sample, Bruce. Piacenza is a good one and worthy of a full puck.

Gillette ought to be careful how they explain that. If more blades causes irritation, and less is the cure? For any shavers that are "woke", they'll be joining us in DE/SE/SR land soon.

They are almost begging someone to score those pharmaceutical grade blades and black market them to shave addicts.

I received that wooden container with a vintage soap, which I purchased a few years ago. MW uses the typical 4" plastic tubs. It's a bit small, but sort of nostalgic.

I need to call WCS to straighten out my account mess. In trying to go into it, they said they don't have a record of my e-mail for it, yet they send e-mails out to me using the same e-mail address they said they don't have a record of.

So I had a busy week at work. Haven’t been on here since Tuesday. I’m 700 posts behind, and have 28% of my battery left. Let’s see which gives out first.

Went to a meet up in Kansas City (ish) today. Had a pretty nice haul. Won the Maggards Two Band in the raffle and, traded for a few aftershaves and most of an injector. All the other stuff were vendor gifts.

Also, my youngest, Juliet, says hi.
