I eat field greens, like Kale, almost every day.

I had a bowl of homemade ham, collard, and mixed bean stew for lunch. It was very satisfying and tasty on a cold November day. It has a tomato base, and it was only 179 cals. per 12-ounce serving.

I've had this cooking since noon. I haven't made it in years, but the cold weather makes it the perfect dish. My two older ones are coming over, to visit, after they heard what has been cooking. They don't fool me.

It really is. We are still learning how to use it, but getting very good results thus far. Tonight we are using it to make pork chops.

This may sound gross but I'm batching and...well...

Cottage cheese atop a bed of heated and drained Popeye canned spinach, sprinkled with pepper, Spike seasoning and sesame seeds (yes, whatever was handy). And it wasn't half bad. Dessert: canned unsweetened pumpkin pie filling, heated and mixed with butter and s/f syrup, topped with cinnamon, a handful of Planters mixed nuts and s/f whipped cream. Again...not bad. I think I'd make an efficient hobo.
