  2. Last night, my wife mentioned the absence of Palm Oil in her Lush shower gel and moisturiser. It got me to thinking. I think that I would like to try some soaps with all natural ingredients that have been ethically sourced. In my searching I came across this:

I am going to be placing an order in the next couple of days. I'll let you guys know how it goes!

  8. Read the ingredients list. As long as it's put together well, it should be a decent product - castor oil and olive oil for slick, coconut oil for slick and skinconditioning, aloe vera for protection and the essential oils for scent...

  9. Sweet! I always love seeing your work, and am always impressed by the results, Jason. Oh, and thanks for posting here. 30DC room service, so to speak. Keeps me from wandering around forums aimlessly.

    November 13 SOTD:

    Razor: Ikon X3
    Blade: Voskhod
    Brush: PAA The Green Ray
    Lather: Stirling Green
    Aftershave: Stirling Green
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

A two pass BBS this morning, and it was great. The scent was terrific, and like always, the Stirling was slick. I am on my way to Houston to catch a plane up to Washington state for a two day meeting. I hope everyone has a great day!

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick G1
    Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic
    Soap: First Canadian Maximo Gomez
Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco Bay Leaf aftershave

Smooth and easy shave this morning. Thanks to @jtspartan for sending me this sample of Maximo Gomez soap. Wonderful soap! Easy to lather, slick, and all the other good stuff you want in a soap. The G1 swiped it away with ease and the Jeeves splash is always a pleasant experience. Can't ask for much else.

    Enjoy your day!

  14. Nice photo, Jim! I enjoy the Stirling Green scent as well. It's coming back for his Black Friday sale so I may grab some and the splash as well. Have a nice flight!
  15. Great photo. Have a safe trip Jim.

  18. Couldn't sleep last night. Up early. Very frustrated with some situations at work. You may not have thought of this, but running an ice cream company is not nearly as fun as eating ice cream. Just saying. That Willie Wonka had it figured out; if I could just find tireless oompa loompas who work diligently and loyally while singing songs... but I digress.

Anyway, knowing today is going to be a rough one made me decide I didn't want that experience in my shave. Not wanting to fight with a dull blade, I pulled out the Japanese Hikari and it did not disappoint. At least I got that going for me... which is nice.
