I love having access to inexpensive products that provide great shaves...Godrej and Palmolive soaps and creams, Arko, Voskhod DE blades, Omega boar brushes, Weishi and Dollar Store DE razors, $5 vintage razors found at estate sales, shea butter, witch hazel... Nothing against all the cool shaving goodies, but anyone can enjoy fantastic shaves without breaking the bank.

Easy shave this morning with RazoRock Blue Barbershop soap and splash. This "What The Puck" soap line, albeit a trap if you mispronounce, is high quality despite a low price. The container is small, quite small, so loading is a bit messy, but that's a first world problem. Easy, slick lather and a nice shave in the end.

Anther rainy morning here in Atlanta. It certainly makes the morning jog with Mocha interesting. Excellent three pass shave to start the day. After touch ups along my jawline and neck, I caught the baby with ease. A splash of CC Bay Rum and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

Thank you, Clint! Wonderful photo on your post as usual. I know what you mean about the rainy mornings. Like a broken record the past couple of weeks.

 

It was rough Monday with localized flooding of roads in several areas of North Atlanta. I really hope that is not the case again this evening. The rain turns really bad traffic into a nightmare. I know we need the rain but I am ready for a break.

hello folks,heavy rain here at 4 :30 so a shave it is, went fo nice and simple,
z-3 ss, nacet 3rd use,wilki brush..proraso pre shave, green cream .nice 2 combination pass shave, dfs ,no drama..touch of thayers and proraso green splash to finish..will use a little wood and spice balm and cologne when i go to work at 7.30. i need to say that for all the great shaves i had with the techs and oc razors this past while,easier shaves come with the tto gillettes sometimes, this simple old superspeed shaves fantastically. sometimes less is more..maybe its all in the head,..have a great day gents..gary

Good morning!

Great shave to start the day. Three pass but needed a little touch up on my right jaw to get it smooth. The blade may showing some weakness. No tugging so I'll give it a go again tomorrow morning but I will have a replacement at the ready just in case.
