I got it in silvertip. Not really a lighbulb but nice bloom. My QED is packed denser and stiffer. Of course, the SM is softer and feels awesome on the face. I had a rooney 1/1 but too small for me. I like the bigger brushes.

I played cricket quite a lot when growing up. I spent a number of years living in the Caribbean (and in various places), so am quite well acquainted with cricket. I can't stand baseball (the game is too slow) and I'm always trying to convince people that cricket is better than baseball.

It's dangerous to be talking about all of these brushes. I can deal with buying more soaps and more creams. They're cheap and easy to unload. But new brushes are quite an investment.

I have yet to see/feel a Shavemac. One day. I love the size of the Rooney 1,1. I've got quite large hands, but for some reason, I like the small size. I'm a little bit of a control freak, so maybe that's why I prefer a smaller brush.

Did your Rooney feel awesome to you or was it too scratchy?

I am still in Stafford, VA and will be heading back to Wisconsin tomorrow or Saturday.

Cancer sucks. Especially ovarian cancer. It just claimed the best person I ever knew. My younger sister finally fell at the age of only 41 after a 14 year battle with the ugly beast. She is greatly missed by people all across the country.

Morning all! We are at 11 degrees with a windchill of 1. That is unheard of in Atlanta. Needless to say I am trying to stay inside for the majority of the day. It looks like the 10k is in store today. Guess we should let ol Shep hit that one huh? If not I guess we can erase posts and wait for the him huh? Think I am going to sell a bunch of stuff on ebay to try to get rid of stuff and more important.....get some $$$$. I have that newbie set on the bst I am still trying to move....hopefully this weekend.

Dom & Tracy - I only have one brush, a Penchetta Penworks silvertip 20mm(?). I love it and really (right now) have no desire to get anything else...

I've become quite the sample whore lately, so Tracy, if you wouldn't mind adding my name to that Connaught list.... I would be more than happy to compensate you for your troubles.

Shep - the Irisch Moos just doesnt' sound appealing to me. The scent, that is. I'm not much on the TOBS avocado scent, and I can't imagine I'd like a sweeter version. When do you need to know by? Let me think on it, but don't count on it.

Cal - I've tried and liked the Wars. I'm really digging that type of scent - foguere I think it is..Erasmic smells like that, too. Godrej had a similar, though not as strong, plus a little menthol, maybe? I'm starting to think maybe mentholated items aren't for me. But I'm only scratching that surface...

Once again, many distractions - I wonder what I missed...
