    Thank you Joseph.

Love the photo and report. The Mystic Water soap is hanging in longer than I would have thought.

I'm seeing positive reviews of MW soap these days. Worx for me.

Good report and nice photo, Joseph. That MW soap certainly seems determined to survive. I agree about "settling" for DFS instead of pursuing baby smoothness at the expense of cheeks that look like they have diaper rash...

Excellent photo, Jim! I hope your flight and drive was uneventful!
Thank you, Patrick! Glad to see you back!
Great shave, Neal! There is a reason that you are our fearless leader!
How bout I just stand here in awe ?
    Nice setup, Brian!
Excellent shave, Perry! I bought one of those sticks in the summer. Apparently they are glycerine based because I left it in the car and during the heat of the day it melted and leaked all over the place. On the plus side I didn't need an air freshener for several months after that. I decided that it wasn't meant to be and haven't gone back for another one.
    Excellent shot, Jim!
Glad the Sputnik worked better for you , Charlie. Great shave and I hope all goes well at the dentist and at the house!
Fantastic shot, Clint! You've got some nice patina on both the brush and the razor!
Fantastic setup Jason! Full of favorites!
Excellent setup Joseph! I believe Troy @Troy M was getting 10-15 shaves out of a Feather in his Blackbird before.

Thank you, Andrew! That's pretty funny. At least the smell is a nice, clean scent as you said. I was interested in it but don't think I'd buy another one.

Thursday morning November 15 - starting to get lost

Gillette Blue Tip / GSB (2)
Vlasta T-400 with Silvertip badger knot
    My Italian sort almond frankensoap
    Alum and Polar Ice Booster

Halfway through No Repeat November and I am getting lost. After using a bunch of new razors and stuff in OCtober and then going directly into a No Repeat focus, I can no longer remember what razors, brushes, soaps and aftershaves I have already used this month. I will have to go back through my daily entries and write down what I used each day so I can get back on track.

Today was my first use of a Blue Tip. It was a very light razor and fairly mild, yet I found it actually had more blade feel and made a louder cutting sound than my other TTOs. I would have expected the reverse to be true. Two passes left me DFS, but the alum was warmer than after yesterday's shave with the Fatip Grande OC. Most odd. Maybe the light weight suckered me into pressing?

The Polar Ice was a kind PIF from Jason @jtspartan. It's a nice splash that provided a light and pleasant finish to the shave.

Thank you Andrew. The patina on the brush is real and developed over many months. The sped up the process with chemicals on the razor.

    Thanks guys.

Before I left my job at a Fortune 200 company to go be a poor, shoeless peddler of ice cream, the company I worked for had 3 corporate jets which I flew in regularly to do my job. After the first few trips, the novelty wore off and I realized it was just the means to a very long workday (typically 6AM to 11PM) which required sitting in a small seat in a cramped loud space while wearing a suit and watching your Ps and Qs if the CEO or one of the Sr. VPs was aboard (which they often were). If I never flew in a corporate jet again, it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all. In fact I'd prefer I didn't.

Great pick John! I imagine it was too much pressure on the lightweight Blue Tip. About how much of your Italian frankensoap have you used up ?

The only difference in Pro and Super Pro blades is the exposure. Same with all of the Feather AC blades. The mild blade offers the least blade exposure, well the one in the pink case, and they go up from there. Same steel, same edge etc.

Thanks, Clint. This Blue Tip looks almost unused. I have another that took long soaking and multiple rides in the ultrasonic cleaner to get enough crud out so the TTO mechanism would TTO. And I think Steve @Vlasta has done a fantastic job on the design and manufacture of his T-400 brush.

    Thanks, Jim.

Thanks, Andrew. I think you're right about the pressure. I had about a pound of my frankensoap after mixing three or four tubs and bars together. I probably have about 3/4 of it left. After which I have one of those one kilogram (2.2 lbs) barber bricks of Cella to start on. I am going to have soft Italian almond soap in my inventory for a long loooong time....

"Everything" includes that statement then. So.....this entire conversation is part of a conspiratorial hoax as is the very existence of this group, because declaring everything as a conspiratorial hoax makes the very vessel of communication a part of that hoax. Thus, we must now reevaluate everything we believe to be real, yet, our very evaluation is also a hoax. We can't know what is real when everything is a hoax. Reality? It doesn't exist. Yet, as a hoax, that statement forces us to realize that it DOES exist as the statement that it doesn't is a hoax. So reality is real, until it transforms back to a conspiratorial hoax by way of the statement that, indeed, everything is a conspiratorial hoax. Finally.............some clarity. Now, if only it was real.
