The brackets are from various other stands I had through the years. Some of which I got just for the particular bracket. The tube and bowl are solid titanium. A buddy of mine saw them somewhere and picked them up for me. I cut the tubing to allow different spaces for my brackets. I then had to drill out the original bolt inside the base and run a length of allthread through the shaft. The allthread coupled with the brass knob on top and a nut and washer inside the base is all that holds the stand together. The main thing I wanted in a stand is the ability to move the brackets around. The brackets on this stand can rotate independently and be relocated to accommodate whatever razor/brush combination I desire. On the bottom is a removablr piece of felt to prevent any slippery situation from damaging my gear.

Anyone got exciting plans for the weekend?

 

I have an auction to attend. There is some up land for grabs nearby, and I want it. Other than that, I will most likely be busy around my house across the river. As some of you know, I signed the deed over to my son as his families Christmas present. There are some things I want to do before he moves in though.

 

What ya got your eye on at the auction?

There is some land up the way that I have been waiting to see up for sale for a long time. They are auctioning it off this weekend. If it stays in a reasonable ballpark, I will get it.

Whats up Dom! Just sold some QED Wild rose and GFT Spanish Leather so sales are doing well.....just need to get rid of that one kit. I might resort to piecing the razors off on ebay though. The one time where I wish I could post at the B. Oh well! You doing alright?

 

Why not just put them on the classifieds here?

 

Going to give it through the W/E. Should have done what Jim did and created a mystery box.....who wouldve know? Its a good deal....and I admit there are some things that I am just trying to push off on someone else but just the razors and brush would be a good deal. Slim adjust and the tech(fat handled) are my 2 fav's and the brush is a descent starter brush. Hell....they are discontinued! OH well....I just hate mailing a bunch of little packages for $5 here, $5 there. I might drop it once more and call it quits.

 

I hate seeing guys on the forums putting stuff on ebay. BTW, I thought the tech you had in that package was a ball handle, not a fat handle?

 

It is a ball handle....just saying i prefer the fat handle. The ball tip is too skinny and I dont have big hands. I can use the handle though for by Gillette NEW head though.
