It has been fun following your comparison shaves, Andrew. I'm also a big fan of the Fine Platinum (Aventus) scent. I picked up my R41 head here: https://www.shaving.ie/products/muhle-replacement-head-r41-oc.html for $13. It's now $18, but that's still a deal if someone is looking for an efficient razor at a great price. I just drop my R41 head on a SS Weber handle and go to town.

That's a miserable photo you posted today, Doug. The main reason I think so is that it's snowy here, and yesterday it was just above zero, but today it's -14C with a nasty wind. I didn't realise that when I went out and I nearly froze my ears off. So now, looking at your photo just makes me shiver. Composition is great though...

BRUSH PIF

It snowed last night and most of the day. It was very cool last night also. The wind has been blowing pretty strong as well.
