In a week full of your excellent Tech write ups, this one is the best, John. Thanks for sharing.

I could take a few minutes and look this up myself, Joseph, but what exactly makes that SS a Parat? Is it labeled as such? Is it French?

I don't recall you pulling that soap/splash out lately, Jim. The label gives away its age as well! I have one Stirling with that age of label- the Coniferous.

Looks like you've got winter full bore, Doug. Our ski hill was open the first week of December here last year. My grass is still green in the yard this year. Nuts.

It was 4C here today... I want some snow (see above).

Thanks very much. Played our last round of golf a few weeks ago. A few years ago we golfed on 24 December. I could have golfed on Christmas day, but my wife informed that wasn't going to happen.

Jim- I assume that is the Waves you are talking about? Andrew- the Red Delicious is different, that's for sure.

 

Don't thank me yet, Charlie. I let Jim know that I hadn't made a resin/wood combo before and he was also my 'tester'. If he uses it, likes it, and it holds together (I'm not really that worried about it), I'll be happy.

 

I believe Waves is in the Reserve base. I ordered Vespers, a seasonal LE. I believe it to be the only one as of now in the new Excelsior base.

It is definitely older. I like the scent, but I have to be in the mood for it, so it doesn't get used too much. I definitely find it better in the fall.
