Thanks Jim. My Bride weighs about the same as when we married. She could teach me a lot about sensible eating. (She's a teachin', but unfortunately I ain't a been learnin' 'till lately.) Even if I can't splurge on pumpkin pie, I love seeing her enjoy it. We seldom have sweets at home, but I picked up this pie and some Cool Whip yesterday. I'll get one or two slices before it's gone.

 

That's a very cool razor and brush combo, Jim. I'm glad your Bride made it home safely. It's just not the same when they're gone. Take care of your back, my friend. Back strains are no fun. I hope it heals quickly.

Trust me, I know the feeling. My wife has been so much better over the course of our marriage about eating. I have paid the price for it, and she has been much better off.

 

Thank you, Charlie. The back isn't too bad, but I do feel it. If I am careful, it won't be too much of a problem. It is days like this when I remember I am not in my 20's anymore.

 

Evening shave with the Hart Steel after a no-shave weekend. The big news is that my 3rd 1 oz sample - Oleo Shiloh - has been retired this year. I know I’m easily in last place in the @Drygulch soap sweepstakes, but at the pace I’m setting in the home stretch who knows what else I could accomplish. Maybe 3 push ups before the year is out, or even 3 chin ups. Who knows, maybe I’ll get to 4 by years end - soap pucks, not push ups or chin ups - let’s not get crazy.

 

Nobody knows when the post will be made to get Adam's soap PIF.
