Nice shave Pete! Tobacco and leather seem to be a classic combo!

Nice picture, John. I thought those were the famous Regus razors.

Survey Update" No Plan appears to be cruising right along heading for the W, but too early to call. No Clue is the closest competitor, but a lot of catching up to do trailing by 29 %.

Excellent post Joseph. I’ve never seen fragrances separate like the one pictured.

I have only used Feathers in my DE razors for about 2 months now.
I no longer get issues with my neck.
Sharp blades aren't for everyone, that's true, but they work for me.
In June or July I would have never thought I would use them, to scary.
When I started this crazy journey 10ish months ago, never thought I would ever get this far.
    Thanks

Will have to check this A.S.-I think all T&L scents should be mixed equally...if there's "too much" of one, I'd prefer it to be leather.

Every time I look at "Pete's Pipes", I get a plumbing service. Need help on the shaving company, clearly.

That picture was after a good shake. It wouldn't come back together.
    Thanks Jim.
    Thanks Andrew. Still smelled excellent.

Gillette Ball End Old Type undated silverplated (1921-29) / GSB (5)
JR #267 birdseye maple and Omega boar knot brush
    Jeeves Turkish Bath soap
    Alum and Jeeves Barbershop splash

    IMG_20181119_112105.jpg

Jeeves' current Barbershop offering used to be called Turkish Bath, so today's soap and splash actually match. The Jayaruh boar brush whipped up a good face lather from the reliable Jeeves soap. The shave wasn't as smooth as expected though. On the first pass, the GSB had more blade feel and was harsher than normal from an Old Type. The blade also seemed to flex. No blood resulted, but it was not the smooth pleasant shave I had been anticipating. Then I double checked the handle between passes and finished screwing it down tight...

Two passes left me DFS without blood despite my screwup on the razor assembly. Alum was rather warm though. A healthy palmful of the lightly mentholated splash cooled everything down again and provided a fine finish.

Hope everybody is off to a good start to their week.

Excellent shot John! You used the adjustability feature as mentioned in the early Gillette user manuals! Just a little too much on the "aggressive" side!

How did you create the aftershave, Pete? I've wanted to try making some aftershave for quite a while but haven't gotten around to it.

Great picture, John. Love the brush. I did the same thing a few weeks ago. I too got lucky and didn't cause any damage.

Paul, if Clubman is workin' for you over at the Piggly Wiggly, it's part of the total package. I wouldn't change a thing, my friend. :D
