I used Feather DE blades exclusively for the first 3 years or so. I agree - no worries once you get used to them. I'll finish up this week with my Slim and then bring out my R41 (2013) on a Weber SS handle with a Feather blade and join in the fun. :happy088: I've used mostly Russian blades for the past few months, so it will be a nice change of pace.

It’s a long weekend coming up. Pretty sure Paul has an extra large decanter of Clubman aging and a comfortable pair of shoes ready to cruise the frozen food aisle. Attention Piggly Wiggly shoppers, we have a pickup on aisle 12!

I know their synthetic shaving brushes look cool, Paul, but I think you'll find they have too much scritch.

I'm trying to conserve as much hair as possible on my old gord. It seems to be a losing battle. :happy102:

Wonderful photo. Thäter makes it harder than it has to be to pick the right brush. I like thinks with names that make sense.

Nice try! I have two new brushes coming in from Wild West Brushworks and need to save some money for the Stirling Black Friday release.

In an effort to restore Balance to The Force, I broke my previous Shavette Fu length post into @Terry 's up coming CT and everything else.
This profusion of prizes has escalated. Cookies, brownies, pumpkin & pecan pies... Now books?

I may have mistakenly admitted to verbifying an occasional noun. Did I abjectify them?

I'd love to see a photo Jason! No hurries about you taking possession.

Minions, release Charlie from the lower dungeon. I find him amusing enough to put up with his occasional insolence for now. Besides that, we couldn’t find anyone who’s head fit the silly hat with the bells on it. Just make sure he doesn’t order any more “wheat forward autumnal meads” while the rest of us are trying to enjoy a round of beer. Dilly dilly and all that!

    Thanks, guys.

I must admit, Andrew, I have always been a bit skeptical about how well that early Gillette "adjustment feature" really worked. Today's experience has done nothing to quell that doubt...
