Terry I never would have seen myself usning a straight razor a few years ago, but after being convinced by one of my coworkers to try a straight shave from a barber I was hooked and determined to learn to do it myself. After initially buying a rso that was sharp enough to cut my face but not hair, I was told about the whipped dog. After a lot and I mean a lot of good advice I was on my way to the best shaves I ever had.

 

Anything to help my fellow shave gear enabler.

 

"Just go out and DO it(the shave)" is the way of NOvember, eh?

 

I don't mind a little cinnamon oil, it just gives me a slight tingle by the third pass. I still have the Faranik, it may make an appearance this winter.

Just ordered some from him as well. I'll be interested in seeing if they're more efficient than the Supply (Personna, I think) blades. Not that they're bad blades...they do a fine job, and last for a number of shaves. I pushed one to two weeks just to try it. It still wasn't tugging, but it wasn't cutting nearly as well on the last couple of shaves.

Very nice smooth three pass shave, and the amber and don Miguel went together extremely well.

Uh guys..... not sure if you can find Piggly Wiggly that 'faa up from the lyn of nawtherin ahhgreshin'.
I figure the Clubman Babes are hanging at Stop & Shop or Hannaford to try for a good whiff of the shave stallion.
