The B20 would be an excellent choice in the Supply if they are a hair sharper than Personnas, imho. I used Vintage PALs in it when I borrowed it from John, and found the 2 dot base plate a hair mild. A little sharper blade? That might be fantastic. It could also make 2 passes with the 3 dot 'sing'.
I have tried 2 different modern Injector blades and 4 Vintage models - Modern Personna, Modern Chick, Vintage PAL, Vintage PAL Carbon, Vintage Schick (black injector case) and Vintage Personna Twins.
I love the Personnas (modern and vintage) and the vintage PAL stainless. I don't think I will buy the Chicks again to be honest. I find them a notch below. The PAL Carbons would make fine letter openers. All the talk on the B20s has me intrigued by them, no question.

Proper paperwork is key to a healthy rebellion. But there is only one conspiracy when it come to cookies, at least at my house with four kids there. Still to this day I’m trying to figure out who ate them. But I digress. Oh well I gotta get back to work.

I think I see mine in that pile too. It’s one of my favorite brushes

Thanks Charlie. Not sure if it was just the cold water, but I’m going to give that same setup another go tonight. With hot water this time of course.

Thank you Perry. I was hoping the B20 would be the sharpest and most like a Feather Pro. I was trying to avoid cutting down a Feather Pro blade to fit.

    Thanks Jim.
    I'm down with that!
    Thanks Clint!
No clue, Jason. Since I am "vintage", I gravitate towards similarly aged scents. :)

How does Try a Blade ship AC blades? If i can figure out a way to protect the edge I will drop a couple in a envelope and send them your way.

I shipped the AC blades in a folded index card cut down to size. It is very similar to the way Try A Blade Ships. The have a folded heavy type paper with a label stabled over the blade.

    Good day everyone!

I’ve mostly been in and out this month as far as the thread goes due to boring real life stuff. Like a bathroom reno. I have been keeping up reading through the thread each day. Sorry if I haven’t commented on your beautiful photos, excellent reports, etc. Do know, however, that I’ve enjoyed all the posts and keeping up with everything that you all have been up to.

    Today’s shave:
    Supply
    APS SynBad brush
TOBS Sandalwood Cream (well, kind of)
    Fine Santal Absolut

I’ve been hitting my samples of soaps this month. It’s one of the little sample jars from Maggard, but for it’s small size, it’s delivered a bunch of wonderful shaves. I thought it would be finished this morning. False. There’s at least one more good lather left in it. I’ve used the TOBS & the Fine Santal together at least three times recently (Nope. Didn’t say I was doing a “no repeat”). They just go together so well. In the future, there will probably be a full-sized tub of this added to a shopping cart. It’s just so delightful and luxurious to use. The question will be, the cream or the hard soap? Anyone have experience with both? Are they equal in terms of scent and performance?

The SynBad did a wonderful job in producing plenty of lather for a six pass shave, even though three passes pretty much did the trick. A very enjoyable shave - no issues, no drama. Just a smooth face. A heavy dose of the Fine Santal and I’m ready to make pecan pies today for the upcoming feast!

Side note for Clint @clint64 …I didn’t copy your setup today. Just worked out that way! :)

True. We have a special paperwork division for off-earth alien entities. And when you add in the flat earth conspiracy requests and validations - well let's just say the printing costs alone to produce it are greater than the GDP of over half the countries in the world.

Don't let it bother you. I hear it's just an empty storage closet in the ice cream factory. You still get ice cream, but only vanilla.

Great shave Bruce. TOBS Sandalwood cream was my first cream back in 2014. My wife loved the scent. It worked really well. If she would stop buying AOS creams I would like to buy some different TOBS creams.

Thank you, but don't worry about sending me any, Andrew. I'm sure I will see a need to place an order from your excellent shop sometime in the future. I see that you also have my faves -the Personnas- as well.
As to your question of how Try a Blade ships blades, I have no idea, I have never ordered from them.

Super pic and write up, Bruce. I agree on the SynBad, an awesome knot.
Any pics of that reno would welcomed!

:Animatedfrozensmily:....Maybe I can traverse the interdimensional gap and convince the oompa Loompas to bring me some Cookies to dip into that lowfat vanilla Ice Cream...:happy108:...thereby bridging the gap between this battle of cookies and ice cream. :duel:...How can anyone say no to Cookies and Ice Cream??:eatdrink047:

Congrats on the 10,000th post Neal! May you have many more years of :eatdrink020: Cookies!
