Need to make dinner.

Picked up some meat in the grocery yesterday.

Can't decide whether I want to make veal or some porterhouse.

Help me out, HYDers. Which of the two meats should I use for dinner tonight?

Need some capers, lemon juice, white wine and lots of butter. Good stuff.

 

Hmmm. Didn't pick up any lemons lately. I did pick up some salted capers from an Italian deli this week.

I think I'm leaning to the porterhouse with parsley butter and mashed potatoes.

I need lemons. I'll make the veal picatta when I get lemons.

 

Veal picatta is one of my favs.....of course anything with capers is awesome. I saw Rachael Ray fry....yes fry the big capers so I had to do it. They were awesome! Light and a tad crispy with that classic caper saltiness.....very good over a salad. I can eat capers out of the jar!

BTW...Just picked up a bottle of Musgo Real for $15 shipped Awesome price!

 

Just stopping in to say hi. I'm in the process of swapping out shave cabinets. Had to go buy something bigger. I sure hope the drywall can hold this new friggin' thing! My wife is going to freak when she sees this. I waited 'till she was out of town to make this swap. It'll be too late by the time she returns. Hee hee hee...sneaky fellow am I.

Anyways been a busy day off. I should be hanging around more tomorrow. The jerky looks good Shawn. Take care boys.

Ray... I think I'm going to try my hand at another dreamcatcher soon. I won't use it myself. Would you actually want it?

Also, shaved with the homemade soap Rolls sent recently. Didn't give a good shave. Switched to Pre de Provence soap to complete the shave. There was a lot of skipping with the homemade soap.

Do you have hard or soft water, Rolls?

Also, made fresh mashed potatoes and the porterhouse with parsley butter. Had some chocolate cake with chocolate mouse, chocolate sauce, and cherry sauce for dessert. Yum.

To make things even better, my girlfriend showed up unexpectedly while I was cooking. Awesome.

The me has a full belly, and is all lazy and stuff. Wish i could go shave .

It was beautiful outside here today and I didn't do anything but stay inside. That is very pathetic but not much to do because still a lot of snow on the ground. I am hoping that tomorrow I can get outside and just sit for a while. It is amazing what a little fresh air and sunshine will do for the soul.
