I've seen green polar bears at the San Diego Zoo. As I recall, it had something to do with the nature of their fur and the algae in the water in their enclosure.

 

Forgot about the algae issue, yes.....Make it red..

 

Well fellas....I made another plunge.....took advantage of the West Coast Shaving free shipping to get Grandpa's Barbershop Shave Soap(Central Texas Soaps).

 

And you didn't get the Noble Otter Flying Hide while you were at it?

 

That one is on the list to "consider" .

 

She wanted me to take it to the dump. No way she wanted any additional clubman scent in the bathroom. I guess on the bright side it cleaned out the pipes.

 

"Powdery" is one of the common notes. My favorite barbershop scent is B&M Seville. It is a updated barbershop scent. In general, my favorite scents broad terms, are Sandalwood, Lavender, Vetiver and Fougere. That still leaves a lot of room for experimentation and interpretation.

 

Blades are cheap. Use lots!

For the Scents that I like but she doesn’t care for or flat out despises, I was given a strong hint to only use the woman repellant scents when I travel for work.

After deciding to enjoy some high powered post shave scent, I sniffed soaps and found similar accords in Stirling's Glastonbury. My sample was generously provided by our wayward 30DC Member Jared @PickledNorthern. Using @twhite's handle fitted with a knot that Clint @clint64 sent my way and one of two bowls from Jack @Sparrow I produced that shiny supergoopy lather Mutton tallow based soaps do so well. I have hope that Rod @ezlovan can find more scents to expand his mutton tallow line, but until then I'm enjoying my samples of this one & Port Au Prince. Moved the Kai blade from the Muhle R89 to this NOS short handled 3pc and again pondered the two different guard bars. One side has wide spaced semi OC features, the other closer. Assuming the wide is coarse I used it for 1st & 2nd passed, 3 pass was with the obverse. A nice reduction happened, with one slight nick on the flat of my chin. Too much pressure I assume since this razor gives good service. I may try a more sever slant one day, but this one satisfied my curiosity.

The first two I can pick out of a line up. I'm a little fuzzy on the other two. Both green scents; Vetiver is grassy, Fougere is fern. I'll pay attention next time I'm using the lawn mower.
