    Thanks Paul. I plan to celebrate Thanksgiving at home with my Bride. We are trying a new crock pot turkey breast recipe, and we may grab a couple of movies from Redbox. This has been movie week for us. We went to see the The Old Man and the Gun and a A Star is Born this week.

    Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick J1
    Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic
    Soap: Country Club for Men Cahaba Blues
    Post: Witch hazel, Jeeves of Hudson Street Tobacco Bay Leaf aftershave

    No time for a photo. Went to brunch this morning and then did some shopping. We have a dinner reservation at our favorite Gulf Coast restaurant - Fisher's Upstairs - in a few minutes. Today is our 9th wedding anniversary. It's been full of ups and downs like any marriage, but I am lucky to have such a wonderful woman who has kept me on for this long at least.

    The shave was easy and efficient, as expected with these products. Great shaves and posts, everyone. Let's keep it up. Have a great evening!

    That sounds like what I recall. Somewhere a cache of them was uncovered. Got mine from the bay, NIB with original tissue and blades.

    Me, too. Guessing the system is overwhelmed from early Cyber Shoppers. I placed an order on Friday the 16th with a projected arrival on the 21st to the 27th. Here on Wednesday the 21st tracking still says "Pre-shipment, not yet in the hands of USPS."

    Just refreshed this Brian Brown on CrOx followed with my now daily routine of FeO3. Very sharp, very smooth and another epic shave. This has been a great week for epic shaves.

    are right about Jared being 'wayward'. Someone said a month or two ago that he was really busy with work. He's never been gone like this before, though.

    Late shave post…

    This shave went down this morning, but I’m just now posting it.

    Karve (D plate)
    Voskhod
    APS SynBad
    Hendrix Classics
    Stirling Barbershop


    There are still a few shaves left of the Hendrix soap sample, which is delightful stuff. I’m enjoying working through my samples this month, and may continue hitting them in December. Not exclusively, since I don’t seem to use anything exclusively. But, mainly….we’ll stick with mainly. I think. Maybe. Who knows?

    Two passes plus a little touch up….Awesome shave. Mostly. There were two small nicks on my neck, slightly lower than where I shave. Where did they come from? Dunno…but they were there. Chalk it up to carelessness, I reckon. Aside from that, fantastic shave.

    A generous splash of Stirling Barbershop to round things out. Ahhh…nice powdery goodness.
