NOvember Focus RR XXX~~Stirling 24mm~~1958 D3 Gillette Adjustable~~Schick Krona I hope everyone was able to spend some quality time with their family and friends yesterday. Big clean up in the kitchen this morning. My daughter, our resident baker always leaves her "calling card" when she come to visit. Not to mention, she brings her dog too. I will say, however, that girl could have a career as a master baker if she ever gave up her job as a deputy prosecutor. Day two with the RazoRock gear. A new wet shaver could do a lot worse than to simply use RR soaps and a Stirling brush. A1 all around. The Fatboy was loaded with the Schick Krona blade. I set to to seven (7), but that's simply an arbitrary number. The shave's the exact same on any number, once you know how to access the blade and the angle. The XXX scent is a winner, but this soap is on the no-repurchase list, along with almost everything in my den. What WOULD I repurchase would be a much more difficult question to answer. Going to see "Annie" this evening with Mrs. Primo, starring my gastroenterologist as Daddy Warbucks. We all know how he made his moola.
Interesting shave today. Carpet cutter blade in the Durham Duplex DE. A really good but rough shave. The scuttle with the old formula Palmolive cream was really nice. Rare DE shave with a rarely used razor.
By the way....they have requested you start closing your curtains before showering. Something about "not enough vodka".
The chrome MicroMatic razors seem to have some of the strangest plating. I have an MMCP which had the plating on the cap flaking off just from washing it in warm water and Dawn and drying it with a paper towel. The thing was like a glitter bomb! And I thought that the Nickel plate on pre-War Techs was bad...
SOTD NOvember 23rd Stirling Mentholated Pre-Shave Soap Rex Ambassador Derby Premium (3) Wild West Brushworks "Talleyrand" (24mm, Frigate Class) Catie's Bubbles '95 Liquid Labels Barbasol Pacific Rush ASB Good morning friends and happy Friday! I hope you all are recovering from Thanksgiving. I have been taking care of the boys all morning by myself because Mom had to go to work today, and by some miracle they are both taking a nap at the same time. Good time to post my morning shave. Beautiful lather from the Catie's Bubbles, though not as dense and creamy as others. The Rex on 3 was smooth as silk and finished with the Barbasol Pacific Rush ASB to keep with the blue theme! Have a great weekend my friends! TGIF!!! Sent from my Galaxy using Tapatalk
