Thanks, gentlemen. I've had both the R41 head and this SS handle for awhile. I'm glad I finally paired them up and tossed in a Feather blade for good measure. This will be fun and should prove to anyone using blood thinners that they can shave with a DE razor.

    Have a restful Sunday!

    Good Sunday morning!!

Well, well a week gone by and I'm still using this little "monster" of a razor, or so called. Now, only using 1 blade ( Feather) per shave is the way to go. Thats 21 passes on the old mug and 14 passes on the gourd a week. You and I would think that would cause problems, but it seems not to have so far. My face seems to be softer than before, well before the wiskers take over. The closeness seems to be better so long as I pay attention to the growth patterns.

This morning was an uneventful shave with easy going runs on each pass.
Well what can I say but this is working out great.

I was afraid there would be blood in the streets and carnage everywhere, none so far. :):)

    To all
    Thanks!
    Enjoy

    RR XXX~~Morris & Forndran 2XL~~1908 Gillette~~Schick Krona
Back on board the RRXXX Titanic today. This soap will last out the month, but I plan on using it to completion anyway.
After yesterday's stellar and really slick shave with the Eufros, I struggled a bit finding the correct amount of hydration.
RR XXX isn't inherently slick and needs the added H2O.
Passes two and three were better, as the rinse water
    alleviated the problem.
Accompanying the RR was the M&F Blonde Badger and the '08 Old Type, loaded with the Schick Krona.
This was a successful triumvirate and left my face, as @Jayaruh would say: feeling smooth and refreshed.

(Not sure I quoted that correctly, but you get the gist)
No nicks, cuts nor weepers and I finished with some Thayer's Medicated Witch Hazel
(my favorite, and for those of you keeping track:
    a definite re-purchase).
    Followed
by the RR XXX AS and ASM.
    Side note: Aftershave "Milk"...c
ouldn't they think of a better name?

Chin weeper this morning. That surprised me, as I loaded really well, but perhaps ended up placing more soap in certain areas than others.

Great progress Terry. Do you shave both the head and face daily. If so, I don't blame you changing the blade daily.

YES, YES, I've been on blood thinners too, for over 2 years now!
Using a R41 with Feathers and no blood letting will prove that:
Technique always rules over tools you use!
    Every Time!
    This is great!!
    Thanks!

An excellent shave this morning. I forget how well the little Rover works. Three passes and touch ups just missed an Epic shave. Two set down errors caused a little blood and ruined the perfect shave. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

    Thanks! This forum really rocks!
    Very helpfull people here!

    Short answer. Yes

I do a 3 pass shave on the face, every morning, why? Don't know, it just feels good, and the wife likes it. I do a 2 pass shave on the head, every day, why? The wife wants/likes it that way.
I was only doing a 2x2 but one day I tried a 3 pass on the old mug, no reason, just did it. Now it's 3 passes, every day and I shave every day, in the morning before work or play.
Some call it crazy, but this proves that even the cyaziest can have good technique when it comes to shaving ;)
    Thanks!

With shaving the head and Face ID change the blade daily too. That’s a lot of ground to cover, and a lot of wear on a blade

Sunday morning November 25 - no pic today

    Schick E2 / Personna (2)
Supply Co Silvertip Fibre synthetic brush
    Jason's Dry Dock shave bowl
    Supply Co Arenella Coast cream
Alum and Supply Co Arenella Coast balm

Today I used my third and final set of Supply Co scents. Arenella Coast is a mix of bergamot, oakmoss and cedar. It is supposed to smell like the coastal wilderness area in Italy that it's named after. I don't know if it actually does, but it has a pleasant outdoorsy scent.

I used the Schick injector that is normally in my rotation, an E2 with an opening head. It was originally owned by a gentleman named F. Eggersdorff. I have no information about him other than the fact that he liked his Schick injector enough to have his name engraved on it. I like it too. Two passes brought me a DFS with no noticeable warmth from the alum. The balm then capped a pleasant shave.

When I was sorting through my razors, I discovered I have two more Schick Es, one with an opening and the other with a fixed head. (I knew I had them, but I thought they were Gs.). I will use them for my next shaves.
