Thanks Clint. I have to rid myself of the XXX. I will continue to work my way through it until its demise. Oh, and the Eufros will be a "hoarded" item. :)

I have been working my way through several soaps so I understand. Is the Eufros that difficult to obtain?

That’s the only thing I miss about CA. We had similar seating for our Broadway Series season tickets.

Just curious Keith, is that kind of mishap more likely with a 'smiley'?

I'm sorry you're missing out on the Broadway Series. Brian. We had season tickets to the Broadway Series here for a few years, and it was fun. Quite honestly, the tickets became so expensive that we didn't renew them. You must other theater options in Idaho. How about community theater or dinner theaters? We have quite a few options here in Kentucky (probably one of the last places anyone would think would have theater), so I'm assuming Idaho would be somewhat similar.

One of my favorite theater venues is Shakespeare in Central Park. Every summer, a group called Kentucky Shakespeare performs in several productions for the community. The park has an outdoor stage equipped with lighting and sound, and the actors are in full costume...quite a feat for plays produced in July and August. Folks show up with their lawn chairs and picnics and enjoy some wonderful entertainment. The group is funded through corporate support, fundraisers, and collections taken during the productions. It's a really cool way to get hooked on theater. My Bride's family hooked me 30 years ago. And until you've seen Shakespeare in Kentucky, you ain't seen Shakespeare. :)

Jim, I know you're not interested, so this post is just for general information purposes. :D

The Feather Artist Club razors (known as Pain Sticks around these parts) are challenging and fun to use as well. They are available in both the folding and kamisori styles. I've seen a few in the Black Friday sales. CJB makes a similar razor.

Neal, thank you for using Sputnik blades. We are now one step closer to ridding them from our planet. :)

Your comment about their short life, relative to Voskhods, makes sense to me. In my limited experience, my first shave with a Sputnik is the best one. The blade edge seems to go downhill on the second and third shaves.

The Tobacco is no longer made. I have swapped emails with Manuel Garcia. He said this:

"Unfortunately I can not return to manufacture it because the importer no longer has the essence. It's a shame because they keep asking me, it was quite successful. In a short time I lost the Tobacco, the Vetiver of Haiti and the Rosa-Bourbon, three emblematic soaps. These last two have been able to replace them (after a huge investment in aromas to locate something of high quality) with the Rosa-Oud and Vetiver, which also carries oud and more aromas, but for the Tobacco at the moment I have no substitute. Maybe with time ..."

That's a top shelf set up today, Keith. I'm sorry about the cut. We don't often hear about you having mishaps...which is a reflection of your skill with straights. I hope it heals quickly.

I've considered adding one of the folding AC's to my collection to go with the pain sticks. Seems like a way to get a "true straight" in my hands that doesn't require stropping, which still stands as the stumbling block to my descent into darkness. Yeah, I know, strange. But consider the source.
