  11. Monday afternoon November 26
    Cased Schick E2 / Personna (3)
    APShaveCo Flat Top brush
    Stirling Coniferous soap sample
    Stirling Coniferous splash sample

I was shocked - shocked! I tell you! - to discover that today's shave with a Schick E2 felt exactly the same as yesterday's shave with my other Schick E2. The Stirling lathered like all Stirling soaps do, then the Schick cleaned my stubble off with two easy passes. A quick dousing with the matching splash, and I left the bathroom cleanshaven and smelling like a northern sawmill.

Tomorrow I will see if my Schick E3 also shaves the same. As it stands, I think I have an unnecessary duplicate Schick E2 in my collection. It's in excellent condition in its cardboard box still with the instructions and the original cartridge of blades it was shipped with - it looks like it was never more than tried out with a blade or two at most. However I don't need two, so this one is going in the trading or selling box...
  12. That's some good looking gear, John!

  14. Thank you!
  15. Nice setup and picture, John! Minty E2 for sure.
  16. Razor: Flat Bottom Tech w/ Fat Handle
    Blade: Astra SP (1)
    Brush: Cheapo Boar (Bluebeard Doubloon)
    Soap: TOBS Peppermint
    Post: Nivea Sensitive

This is my fifth shave, in a row, with this combination of products. I was actually doing a Tech focus with this gear back in July/August I think! The usual 2.5 passes has led to a fantastically smooth finish. This is a superbly smooth and comfortable razor/blade combo - shaving ATG was effortless. I am finding that I get my best results when I shave every other day (for the moment)!

    Enjoy your shaves gents!

  17. Might you be able to provide a comparable photo like this one showing the cap? Following up a comment on another thread that my cap is not typically seen on the EFBT .

  18. No other markings on the blade besides what you can see in the picture, Jason. Just trashed all of them.
