    Razor: Gilette Tech
    Blade:Gillette 7 o'clock black
Soap:Stirling vanilla sandalwood (2018 shave awards)
    Brush: Omega boar
    AS: Aqua velva blue
    Dickinsons witch hazel

After shaving the noggin with this setup, it would only be right to keep going and do my mug with same such gear. Results were outstanding to say the least......I'm off to shovel the steps. Have a great night!

The Crowne&Crane that appeals to me is Blue Spruce(I think C&C has that, anyway).

    Thank you!
    The trick is, keep going.
Ouch! Ouch! That just sounds like it hurts. I have a mustach, the wife forbids me from removing. So I don't have that problem.
On the face, I go top to bottom, then left right, then bottom to top. The head I go from crown out. Then left right.
The Feather seems to give me a smoother less bloody shave. When I use a lesser or duller blade, I can get more weepers and burn, if I'm not careful. This makes no sence to me, but there it is. On my chin, I have to roll the razor slightly to get one section cleared. I also have learned how my hair grows does help in the direction of the stroke.
The 41 seems to make it harder to clear an area that is a corner, at least to me. I have to start at an angle that rides the bar, then gently roll the razor blade just to the skin for a tiny careful stroke. This is the exact opposite of riding the cap that I do on the rest of the shave. This seems to work on the lower lip and above the ears, it does take some careful aiming.
    Good luck!
    Keep the faith!

That's probably a very apt description. The trick is, I don't have Tiger in the list of blades nor Marvy soap in the list of soaps for the month. So, yeah, I kind of cheated the gods I suppose. :taunt002:

Razor - Gillette Type M Injector
    Blade - schickinjector.jpg
    Soap - Stirling Executive Man
    Brush - 30 DC LE
    Post - Alum

I wondered if I'd be using the Type M this month. I'm actually one razor over the number needed on my list so something will miss out. But it was ordained that the second injector of the month would get a shot. Pairing it with the Schick blades from China that actually work well for me. I got Executive Man to pair with the 30DC brush so lather is obviously a no-brainer. And, the Type M, wide open as always, is just a great shaver. Get the angle set right and hold it there with no pressure and three passes later the baby will be bouncing on your knee. It was a great shave and I'm glad it was fated to happen before the month ends.

Speaking of that - Friday is the final day of NOvember and we roll right into Decadent December!! Remember, decadence doesn't mean expensive (though it can, obviously) but rather the most lavishly comfortable, enjoyable and over the top enjoyable shave you could ever imagine! You can still do a Rule with gear like that or just focus on your best gear and setups. Or, of course, do the "unfocused focus" that is always a favorite. In fact, it's such a favorite it's almost become a standard focus. Even unfocused. Have a great Wednesday!

    Proraso Red soap
    Boar/badger brush
    Suribachi bowl
    Schick Golden 500
    Proraso Red AS
SOTD 11272018 Ist use Proraso Red AS.gif Wasn't sure my package would arrive in time for this months No Repeat rotation. Ordered on the 16th, but requires ground shipping & tracking never caught until it reached town. I've had the Red tub of soap since Neal @NCoxSTL sent it my way in a trade. Not having an appropriate post shave product it languished at the bottom of the Proraso stack. I've got another sandalwood soap from Chris @Bama Samurai that should do it justice, too. From my reading this AS is not blended with other scents - just straight up EO. The soap lathered well as always though I used an odd little brush this evening. Part of a swap with Jack @Sparrow that netted me a couple Suribachi bowls from his neck of woods in Japan. Can't recall if I've even used it before but I did remember him saying it's a badger/boar mix. It is small of knot diameter, has a interesting handle of mixed clear/ yellow/ brown Lucite , and after I rinsed it out I could see the shorter badger hair below the taller lofted boar. Has me curious about those Taj badger & boar brushes now! So the soap lathered well, and the Schick being Golden reduced my two day growth in fine order. I can't help fiddling with the Hydro Magic lever who's only purpose seems to be allowing easy rinsing around the blade. The shave proceeded in fine order, Standard DFS with no errors. The AS? Woody when the alcohol burned off. Sandalwood oil is listed before Shea oil, but both after glycerin which I've found agrees with my skin. I'm a happy smoothed shaved wood scented camper.
    Good Shaves Y'all!

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick
    Razor: Schick G4 '66' injector
    Brush: Zenith B02 boar
    Soap: Soap Commander Honor
Post: Witch hazel, Soap Commander Honor aftershave

Bought this tub of Honor at a retail store last week and ordered the splash (and two others) on Black Friday. First try with the pair and the results were good as expected. Soap Commander's lather is top notch. The Zenith boar made it easy to produce and the Schick 66 swiped it away with efficient ease. The Honor aftershave is loaded with plenty of face goodies and felt terrific. I added some menthol crystals last night and probably will add some more. Terrific shave all around.

    Enjoy your day!

Great shave and photo, Neal! I agree that the Schick M at setting 8 is a tremendous razor. Smooth and comfortable.

    Nice photo and shave, Rick!
