Next "new" razor: Ikon 102 Slant w/ Maggard SS handle Jayaruh #242 brush Astra SP blades Pre de Prevence #63 soap This slant doesn't twist the blade like some slants do. Instead the head is tilted. Is a very efficient razor, always a great shave. Herm

Every three days I switch razors. Keeping with the slant I'll be using the Merkur 39c "Sledgehammer". Unlike the previous Ikon 102, this razor twists the blade. The 102 is efficient, but not overly so. I don't think you could cut yourself with the 102 if you tried. The Merkur, on the other hand requires attention to your technique or it could bite you. The brush is a Jayaruh Special Edition (#6) for TOST. GSB blade isn't my favorite, but a nice close shave, nonetheless. Herm
Saturday Razor - merkur 23C Blade - Feather Brush - Vlasta T400 boar Soap - DR Harris Marlborough Post - medicated witch hazel A/S - Avon Bayrum This shave was awesome. The blade and Razor combo is fantastic. I switched out the handle as I like this one better than the extremely long thin handle this originally came with. The aftershave is much sweeter smelling than the pinaud version. I was BBS smooth. Today’s shave Razor - de89 Blade - personna blue Brush - custom cedar by jayaruh Soap - mystic waters yellow rose Post - peach witch hazel A/s - citrus musk Another great shave. Bbs smooth but not as smooth as I would have liked

Razor - Muhle R89 Brush - Whipped Dog Silvertip Soap - Pre de Prevence 63 This razor is extremely similar to the Edwin Jager DE89, if not exactly the same. I find the Muhle a bit milder. Or it could just be me... Herm
Final NEW razor for the month. This is the first DE take I ever purchased, in 2014. The EJ DE89 is a classic, smooth, comfortable razor that's hard to beat. Great pics this month everyone! Herm
Razor - Yaqi DLC Blade - Astra Brush - Omega 48 Soap- WSP Lavender Post - lavender witch hazel A/S - Lime sec A good shave last night. Started off fantastic but then something changed during the 3rd pass. I started getting irritation. The end result was I had to use another razor for the clean up. The dlc couldn’t get close enough
i have to do an extra pass with my tech razors compared to my tto s. rarely need 3 passes with my ttos, minor touch ups. could still be a technique thing for me though..
