Went to the "Minute-Clinic", a feature at my local CVS. I'm now on Mucinex, plus a nasal mist. I didn't do any Giving Tuesday donations, but I did make a couple prior to today, and will do some more holiday donations prior to Christmas.
I despise going to the opthalmologist. Any issues with the eye, I am done. When I was about 10 years old, I had to have emergency eye surgery. I actually tore my cornea and essentially have some ground off. It scared me so bad I just check out.
good news - bad news. It's all in the eye of the beholder... On a more serious note: Glad things aren't getting worse. Wishing you well and praying for ya!
Today was frustrating. I had my second failed attempt at getting am MRI of my right shoulder. I coudn’t complete it even with pain meds. It was a stand-up MRI facility, which is probably the most tolerable, and it was still dreadful. The only way this is going to happen is if I find a place that sedates you for this.
I once knew how to use a sewing machine & decided I wanted to learn how again. So I bought a basic model that arrived yesterday. So far, so good. I have learned the basics of setup and done a couple of small projects. I repaired a pair of PJ pants that were separating on a seam. Later, I turned a t-shirt into an appliance cover. The hem-stitching doesn't bear close inspection, but that's OK right now. Making my own clothing is not the goal; I have long since learned that I have absolutely no aptitude for it. But I do like machine sewing for repairs & crafts. I plan to take a class in the spring. For now, I am having fun experimenting.
I ran through the supermarket this morning and was looking at the Deli leftovers. There was one package labelled "Dom Swiss - NED CUT". Winter Is Coming!
