Thanks. I’ll be on the road Tuesday to Friday this week and Monday to Friday next week. I’m trying to get a few things caught up today.

 

Shave @ ~2 pm on Saturday and @ ~8 am on Monday = 42 hours between shaves = 1.75 days or 0.125 fortnight

Sorry, I'm an old engineer.

 

Not sure I haven’t really stopped today. I hope not.

Jason the only difference in the Chubby 2 Synthetics, other than color, is the shape of the knots as far as I can tell.

Seems I need to Focus on this soap to attain Decadent Lather. It's a little more softened up from the previous use, and the APShaveCo knot despite it's soft face feel will load soap. Incremental improvement! Same razor & blade on the same setting. I stepped back to a 2 & 1/4 pass shave. My usual is 3 full passes and lots of baby chasing. Going to see if targeting SAS to CCS lets me shave every day. Judging from the level of alcohol burn, I'm still applying too much pressure or my angle of attack is off. Left a bit of stubble, too. C'est la vie.

It's funny how much my mindset has changed. From avoiding shaving to looking forward to it and enjoying the fact that I can do it daily. The last time I missed a shave was August 1st, the morning we flew to N.O.
What a difference a year makes.

You wouldn’t want one. I mean, yeah they’re beautiful. And, sure, the machining is fantastic, with tight tolerances. The weight and balance are borderline perfect. But, nah...you wouldn’t want one.
