Thank you, John! So far so good with the GSB's. I've run them in the ATT S1, Blackbird and Dart with excellent results. I can't explain it, they haven't felt very smooth in any of my previous uses. Next DE up is the EJ89L for Thurdays shave.

The minute I saw this post, my phone began ringing. Figured you were calling me to make sure I saw this! :). (Note, the call was another phony......there are many pranks going around..thank goodness for Caller ID). Anyway....I gave up on sprays decades ago. When I saw gel "tubs", I figured, "Why spray when I can dip in"?

Actually, it was just a touch under 1.0 days. We'll call it. 0.986. You picked up on my humor, so you must be blessed to work around engineers. Just know that I live dangerously in retirement. I haven't worn a pocket protector in months. ;)

The Speick cream was fantastic. The post shave feel was great as well. I wonder if the soap has the same qualities as the cream. I paired it with Antesol which worked really well with the Speick.

    Thank you Jim

Thanks Amigo. The consulting contract is just going to be very stressful this month with it being year end. They have a very compressed timeline that thte books have to be closed by 1/4/19 which will me a lot of hours for me over the holidays.

    Thank you Jim

Thank you John. I am in jeans in my office catching up on emails so today is already much better.

Just excellent Mark. With descriptions like that early in the morning you're on a roll. I want whatever you had in your coffee. :D

Great shave and photo Danny. Bravo.

Happy Tuesday Charlie. Have fun on Senior Day. ;)

Sometimes decadence is all about the "me" time.

    I was utterly decadent this morning with this shave. Leisurely load-time;
face-lathering until the lather was perfect; nice, slow razor pulls.
1947 was a great year for Gillette. Their SS was one of the great razors ever manufactured.
Definitely some debate, understandably so, but this model was a winner.
I own better looking razors, but I don't own any that shave any better.
Perma Sharp made its fourth or fifth appearance---not sure as I have given up the habit of counting.
Oh, I used to use the die, featured in my SOTD shots. I have moved on.

One of the best features of the RR XXX is the scent. Brilliant.
We are getting closer to the end of the product. It's possible that the AS will run out first.
Shout out to @NCoxSTL for the Stirling Gift Certificate.
Purchased 3 bath soaps and the Glacial Unscented ASB.
    Many thanks again, Neal. :thanks:

Wonderful post, Joseph! I just picked up a 1947 Superspeed for my father. He was born in 1947. He doesn't use DE razors or really even wet shave, but I think he'll enjoy owning a birth year razor.
