Wonderful report and shave Andrew. The 1924 looks great.

Thanks Perry. In the past I wouldn't notice a 5:00 shadow until about 36 hours after I shaved. Now I'm noticing it at about the 24 hour mark. Seems like a good reason to shave daily!
    Thanks Clint!

I agree! I shave daily. If I don't shave the stubble is really noticeable about 30 hours after the shave. 24 hours later it's okay but those next six hours bring it out more and more. I can only go two or three days with beard growth before it starts to drive me crazy.

I once grew my upper face beard for about three weeks. This was several years ago. I told the students I would grow it out if we met a certain goal on something, maybe fundraising. Had to shave my neck because it itched so badly. I didn't like the beard at all and shaved it promptly when my penance ended. I've never offered up beard growing as an incentive since, and especially not now that I enjoy shaving so much.

Thanks Clint! We did use a buy one/get one free lunch coupon today. That was the next best thing to Senior Day. ;)

Thanks Jim. What makes Dilbert so hilarious is that his cartoons are spot on. I hope things go well with your work day and the new boss. I've had to break a few bosses in over the years. :D

    Thanks guys! I appreciate it.
Jason, a Kentucky Hug is actually the warm feeling in your throat and chest after you sip bourbon. The Kentucky Chew is the way to properly taste bourbon.

In that case I’ve been enjoying the Kentucky Hug a little bit too often Before the tasting tours the bourbon in the house seemed to last forever. Now the stuff does last long at all.

Have you toured Buffalo Trace distillery?

Thanks, Andrew, both for the condolences and for the information about my razor.

From a thread over on B&B, it was apparently patented in 1945, was distributed by the Morton B Farrell Co, has a nickel plated head on a solid aluminum handle, and comes in either two or three variants. And is noted as a mild but very close shaver.
