Alrightythen.... Vampire ckick are indeed very hot. My son wrote a short story about falling in love with a vampire girl. It is one of my favorites that he has written. It is actually more of a poem I think, because of the format. Ever heard of Iambic Pentameter?

 

I was prolly asleep when that was taught in school. But I bet it was a good lesson

Life is good, Fuzzy. I am finally going to change my blade. Actually, I think this morning I will break out my old Rolls Razor.

 

I think that would be fun to play with.... I altered a SE blade to work in a Auto Strop,. was a good shave. Have not acquired a Rolls yet.

 

Good morning. Finally got caught up on the thread. Made a cup of really strong coffee in my french press this morning. Yum. I bought myself a bean grinder too, so my first freshly ground beans.

I hate that about soft water, I never feel clean, always oily.
We had a water softener when we bought our house, caused major problems. The cold water in it caused condensation on the outside of it which eventually caused mold. When we moved in I replaced the drywall not knowing that was what caused it, but soon after noticed the water. It is now gone, and we have some extra space.

Morning everyone. Tried Rolls' stropping method this morning. Don't know if it works yet because it was a fresh blade but will keep doing it to see if it extends the life. Didn't really notice any more smoothness from the shave.

That is a good idea. My wife took it over for laundry stuff though. I can't complain, I have my space.

Morning Tracy. I am curious how it works for you. Dave swears by the palm stropping, I have done it with a blade a couple timed, but not before each shave, so I did not get the full benefit.
