WTF is up with the Connaught shaving creams pricing? I just went on the site and was about to order it and noticed that with shipping the stuff is $27!! Everyone always says how reasonable the price is though. So, WTF am I missing?

 

With lots of water I got a nice shaving lather from SCS. It was just too tempermental a product for me to stick with. I own so many products that lather up easily that SCS just wasn't worth the hassle for me. It did shave well though so if you've found the sweet spot enjoy.

Shep is from the Dakotas and now lives in AZ, both red states. Shep is more a red/blue mix (is that violet???) Fiscally conservative and socially more liberal. What used to be called a southern democrat I believe though it doesn't apply anymore me thinks. Neither party does very good at curtailing spending IMO. For being the staunch conservatives this last admin. claimed to be they spent money like a pack of drunken sailors...something which I am familiar .

Anyway that's about as political a discussion you will drag me into. They tend to devolve rather quickly and get ugly. And it's way to early to get ugly. So let me change up and say I used the SCS Sandalwood EDT this a.m. It's not bad, but a bit perfumey which I don't care for. The undertone scent is very nice though so it's too bad I keep getting wiffs of this sweet perfume smell too.

 

I ordered 2 tubs and with shipping it was about $28. What shipping method did you choose?

I got the 100ml tubs because they had the scents I wanted. This cream isn't as cheap as other independant makers stuff but IMO it is very worth it. It is in line with other big name English creams.

Morning everyone. Just found out I am either moving to Dallas or Milwaukee. GF has 2 job offers in limbo and was offered the one in Dallas already. Sadly I would rather stay in this hell hole of a city.

 

This thread is much more entertaining than the calculus 2 class I am sitting in.
