Happy December folks! I hope it is off to a good start. Today, I went out exploring & took a drive to a fabric store. I bought some cotton canvas, to make a tool roll. Pics when I’ve made it.
I went with the Mrs. To the Dr. She hasn't been feeling well, and with the little peanut in there, we want to make sure everything is ok. She is fine, just needs more rest and vitamin C.
Well, I finished my sewing project- a small tool roll for my sewing shears. It’s not perfect, but it’s not bad for a beginner project. The measurements aren’t quite what I originally planned, because I just stink at accurate measurement & cutting. (This is why I don’t make clothing.)
I saw me surgeon today, following up with the CT scan from a few weeks back.. IT WAS CLEAN!! Almost 2.5 years, to the day, since I was diagnosed with my brain tumor, and it is finally over! Thanks for the unending support and love and prayers!! Sent from my EML-L09 using Tapatalk
Awesome news, Luke! Hearty congratulations! It must be such a relief for you and your family. This deserves a 21-penguin Salute. (please reload this post 20 more times.... budget cuts, you know.)
I had cataract surgery on Monday and now see much better out of my right eye. Not as well as they led me to expect from the top of the line lens I paid extra for, but a big improvement. I expect I'll have the left eye done in 2019, but will probably wait a couple of months. I think I had more eyedrops put in my eye prepping for the surgery than the preceding 60 years.
/groan I'm sure they mentioned it, but just in case... it's going to take a little while (inflammation, healing, etc.) for you to see full results. But, meanwhile, I'm glad everything went smoothly.
