More likely, I'd have Back Roads Gold replate one of my Common Bar handles. I'm curious to see how much of the original gold remains on either head and cap. The pictures make it seem like there might be a fair amount. What I can't decide is what to do about the two-ended handle. I have some spare ball ends, so I could return it to stock or not.

yes,so far so good..but i am finding little difference these days with all the blades i use..gsb,nacet,astra sp, voskhod,are my most used with great results and no issues..
My favorites are GSB, Nacets, Polsilvers, and Perma-Sharps. I started with Personnas then went to Astras. I traded away the Personnas and the Astras are just gathering dust; I'll probably trade those away as well.
