I have the splash and a tube of the cream. I don't care what others say about the cream, I think it is pretty good. Not as good as TOBS or connaught but pretty darn good, better than proraso for me.

Scents aren't like colors, first of all. There is far more room for blending with fragrance.

Secondly, how can I answer if it will smell good? If you mail me your nose, I may be able to answer the question. :p

Since I picked up a bottle of Speick, I've barely used anything else. Picked up some TSD splashes and using those every now and then. Speick has even replaced my formerly beloved Tabac aftershave splash.

Dom didn't you have and use some of the SCS sandalwood a/s? I like her a/s but not as much as Speick. I will only buy some more speick and scs a/s from here on out.

I have the splash, balm, stick, and cream. Picked up a couple sticks when I went to Chicago last year. Haven't used them yet. Got the cream and balm for really cheap on one of the other forums. Picked up the splash after Sheppy sent me a sample.

I'd say what you said about the cream is pretty accurate. It's pretty good. I've heard the sticks are much better than the cream. The splash is definitely much better than the balm.

I do have some of Sue's Sandalwood A/S. It's an exceptionally good product and I will definitely recommend it highly. Very soothing and very good at taking care of your face after a rough shave. The scent is a little too much for me sometimes, though. She sent me a sample when she was in the testing phase. I'm not sure if she modified the formula or not.

Have you tried Tabac A/S splash?

    Well, I don't know these things...I'm not a master Mixologist :D

You can give me your professional opinion on whether the scents would blend well and compliment each other, or if they'd just become a huddled mass of smell... or even better, your personal opinion...

    a little Van Gogh-ish, dontcha think? :happy102

Also, how would I do that through the store? I'm hoping to finally place an order soon. Maybe I'll do it with the AS Milk, or splash in a sample...or soap, which ever would be easier, or that you think would work the best....

I haven't...how do you like it?

How about the other Tabac scents, like Tabac Sport...I think there's a third, also... have you tried any of those?

I haven't tried the Tabac splash. I like the soap but the scent is just ok to me.

I find the SCS sandalwood splash to be mostly alcohol smelling. Small hint of sandalwood but not much. Her sandalwood EDT is much better smelling.

I just got some QED Sandalwood soap from Shawn, along with a small sample of Tam Dao. Tomorrow is going to be a sandalwoody day! I'm just not sure what A/S to use with it...choices are limited: TSD AS Milk in 4711 or Iced Lime, Pinaud Bay Rum, or Nivea A/S Balm (which I'm not sure works well for me...slightly irritating? it's been a while, maybe I'll try it again...)

It's good stuff. I haven't tried any of the Tabac scents other than the regular. I was going to get your Bay Rum soap out to you tomorrow. If you can wait for another week, I can ship it out then with a sample of the Tabac splash.

The Tabac A/S is pretty good. Very soothing and healing. I'll add a sample of this to the list of things I'm going to send your way.

See... I think she cut down on the amount of sandalwood scent after she sent me the test sample. My own stays around for the rest of the day and smells like sandalwood once you splash it on and after an initial alcohol scent.

I just opened a package from Toadstool Soaps (on ebay) containing 3 lbs of bath soap. :D It smells amazing. I am looking forward to trying it out.

I got a huge bar of Will O Wisp and Bruja which are both from their signature series with 6 oz bars! I also got one pound brick of each French Vanilla Oak, and Vanilla Sandalwood. I am on my last bar of my previous stash, so it was time to try some new ones.

    CRAP!
trying to cleanup my bulky podcast directory - actually, two things, moving all podcasts from Itunes to Zune (only had Itunes for the particular podcasts I was wanting, now that I have a Zune, might as well use it's software), and clearing up duplicates (where the crap they come from, who knows), and, ignoring my own experience, didn't backup what I had (two years worth)....
    yeah, guess....

couldn't think of anything to post while waiting...so I posted the model number of the stereo I have running to my computer

Oh no! I hate when that happens. I lecture people on backups all the time, but I have done it to myself too, just not thinking. I actually did it to my phone recently, which was a much bigger deal than one might expect. Sorry!

oh well, it is the best way to clear it out, I guess...and no duplicates!
but, I know several of the podcasts will only go back 2 weeks, and a couple others will pickup 4, I think...but, what's done is done

do you listen to old ones often? I have a hard time trashing the old ones, but I never go back to them.
