You'll get those soaps under control in no time. Great progress so far. And using a cream once in awhile gives you a bit of a break as they tend to lather more easily.

Just to irk the PC crowd...

It is indeed a chilly day here in the heartland, 22˚F. Probably colder elsewhere, but my bathroom thermometer read 61˚
Can you say: "Extreme Shrinkage"?
Let's see, what soap am I using today? Oh, yeah. Yaaaawwwwnnn. RazoRock XXX, I forgot.
It's a darn, good thing, that this soap is actually pretty good. Better than pretty good, in fact.
As I have said before, Mrs. Primo really likes the Colonia scent, so yesterday, I traded an unopened bottle of Floïd Blue
for a tin of the new Saponificio Verasino Colonia soap AND a bottle of the matching AS.
The lil' Semogue went to town and loaded the XXX to my strict standards.
This brush has become super-soft, at the expense of quite a bit of backbone.
The Polsilver & the Milord Tech proved to be a winning combination.
Three passes without issue.
No more XXX AS, so I finished with some Thayer's and the XXX ASM.​

Had some minor Irritation along the way, green horn stuff. Hopefully getting past all that kinda stuff soon!
The 30 day focus rule helps.

Happy with my Stoylin Barbershop soap/Clubman A.S. shave today, as I always am with that combination. One thing I think I need to focus more on is wetting my brush(pre-shave)with warmer water. More often than not, the brush is a little too cool prior to loading the soap.. That may not matter to the members of the Fellowship of Cold Water Shaving, but it does to me.

Great setup Joseph. Trading away a full bottle Floid Blue is a big move. Hope it works and was worth it.

Thank you Clint and yes it was a very enjoyable evening. The kids loved it and the family that owns the company are some really good people and treat all of us good. They like to make sure we know that our hard work is appreciated which seems to be a quality that is not around too much anymore.
