  1. Thank you very much. Sunday I don't have to be out the door till noonish or so and that's when I get my most relaxed shave.
Right on the disposables and canned goo. Some can do it, must be nice, I don't seem to be able to go that rout without pain. That's why I latched onto this type of shaving. WS works for me very well, the hardware, software and history interest me too.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick Proline AC
    Razor: RazoRock Black Hawk
    Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic
    Soap: Stirling Ozark Mountain
Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Ozark Mountain aftershave

Excellent shave today. Smooth and comfortable and so easy. The Stirling lather was slick as I can recall, and the Black Hawk glided right through two days' growth in fine style. Almost stuck with just one pass, but I relathered and did a little XTG on my cheeks and another WTG pass on my neck. Terrific all around.

Tomorrow is Wilson's 4th birthday and his party is today. Lots of family and friends will be over this afternoon. He wanted a garbage truck party, so the cake decoration is of a garbage truck with balloons. The mind of a toddler......

It'll be a fun afternoon. Great shaves, everyone!

  16. hello folks, sunday shave at last..itching to try the a and e asian plum..proraso white pre as usual, soaked the semogue 830,(my second real brush purchase, used wilki brushes until this point).got a awesome slick lather, and got a fantastic 3 pass dfs shave, no drama..polsilver blades are nice so far, 2 shaves in with them.have a 100 pack on its way..why a 100 pack after 2 shaves you ask?price was right and they are trade, sellable if i change my mind..plus these days most blades in this league work great for me..still not a feather fan though..maybe when/if i can shave shave daily i might progress..at present i like my 3-4 shaves a week without issues and use the cool stuff..may even try the dark side but at present just like to look at straights..
the 4 piece flat bottom performed well, i don t use this one too often as i have a more favorite one with a heavier handle i use more frequently ..touch of thayers, and i don t have a match for this scent and won t look for one..tabac would work but ehh..nice floral scent ,love the soap.finished with a favorite, acqua di selva, flowers and trees.. what a great sunday so far, have a great shave and day folks, gary 20181209_093013.jpg
