I'm on a hiatus from my shavette until my beard grows out. Then the shavette will be back!Great finesse trimming tool.
Tuesday 11th December Feather AC RG Razor with a Dorco AC type Blade I saw the Dorco Blades in Maggard's Black Friday Sale and decided to have a go! Definitely not Feathers or Prolines...but smooth and sharp enough. Time will tell on the longevity!
I used my Dovo Shavette today. I got a nice BBS without any irritation and a tiny nick under my chin.
Before I went to traditional straights, I started on a Dovo Shavette. To me, it was a good tool to learn technique and angle so transitioning to straights was easy. I still use my Dovo shavette when I don't feel like stropping, but want a very close and smooth shave. In fact, I will be using it this month because I undertook a 30 day challenge on this site. If interested, it is the 30 day shave club thread. They change themes every month. This month, it is Shavette and Jeeves January. Check it out!
I am very much into the 30DC. I just have been super busy correcting a bad job move so have not been around much. I will get a shavette or two in this month.
