Ah, compared to the Tiger or Flying Eagle, the Durasharp is a top end blade.

ARKO will do that. Best to remove all other brushes from the room to avoid spontaneous lather bursting out later. Hair brushes, tooth brushes, toilet brushes...
If you have another soap that is difficult to lather, mixing in a little ARKO can fix it right up.

The handle looks just like a bar handle on my NEW LC. I'm guessing the Tuck Away is shorter?

No, the Tian Li are definitely worse. Honestly, I may just be prejudiced by having used some really good blades lately. I'm thinking of sending some of the Gillettes to Neal in the hope that he will GBT them.

I was a little on the fence with it on the first try, added a little more water and it worked great. I was told it smelled like powder and dirt mixed, can’t smell dirt but definitely smell the powder scent.

 

That's a bit like saying "Compared to tissue paper or cardboard, straw is a good material for build a wolf-resistant house for a pig."

December 10 SOTD:

Razor: Gillette Diplomat
Blade: Rapira Swedish Super Steel
Brush: PAA The Green Ray
Lather: Grooming Dept Chypre Conifere
Aftershave: Clubman Reserve Whiskey Woods

I won't be heading to the gym this week, so I get a few extra shaves at home, which works out to try a few more new soaps. This is the free tub I received by mistake from Grooming Dept, which is good as I never would have tried this scent in my own. This one is a non tallow base but with donkey milk. Too me, it isn't quite the post shave feel of the tallow/duck fat base the other tub has, but still. Wry good. The scent is definitely piney, but a hint of citrus and an almost sweetness behind it. I do like, but it isn't necessarily my favorite either. It did set up another great shave with the Diplomat, which was a nice start to my Monday. I hope everyone has a great day.
