hello folks i have started a vintage gillette sotd thread if anyone is interested...

 

Here are my last several night shaves... what else can I say than they were all awesome! MYSTIC RIVER was the 1st time using the puck I brought a year ago, it does take some attention to lather (not dummy proof like most artisan soap) but you get rewarded with some of the slickest tallow soap I have ever used, great stuff...

Thanks Steve. I've actually been to Goslar Germany to check out the Christmas Market in 1988 which this set pays tribute. Wonderful site and the town has a beautiful rustic appeal to it. Also have been to the Christmas Markets in Nuremburg and Munich as well. Wonderful time and experience and maybe I'll have the opportunity one more time.
