December 11 SOTD: Razor: Gillette Diplomat Blade: Rapira Swedish Super Steel Brush: PAA Starcraft Lather: PAA Kiritimati Aftershave: PAA Kiritimati Another Black Friday purchase showed up yesterday, and I was really excited to try this soap out. It didn't disappoint, in fact it probably exceeded my expectations. There is a lot going on with this scent. It definitely has the Bay Rum base, but I can get quite a bit of the Frankincense and Myrhh on top. There is some added woodiness, which works really well. Behind it all is just a touch of a floral scent that just seems to round it all out. My wife definitely liked it this morning, so I can tell this is one of her preferred scents. Of the Black Friday purchases I have tried so far, I am 2 for 2 with my wife on the scents. That is an almost unheard of streak. I hope it keeps up. I also hope everyone has a great day!

Thank you Patrick. I only have one razor that I really know the history - a Krona. Had two of them but when my father asked about a DE set up I offered him a handful of mild razors. Great shave this morning. I hope the picture is better. Trying out some studio lighting that I had laying around. I broke the 30dc and used the Oneblade synthetic brush that I received yesterday. This was my first time using a synthethic and I can say that I really enjoyed it. No soaking and it dries quickly. I was also surprised by the softness and stiffness as well. The brush whips up a mean lather. Oneblade Synthetic Brush – 20mm knot Palmolive Sensitive Shave Cream Salsa\Timeless bowl scuttle Rockwell 6S Voskhod Blades Nivea Men Sensitive Post Balm Shave Pinaud Clubman Aftershave Lotion Two passes with plate 5 and finished up with plate 3. Applied some Nivea and followed up a few minutes later with the Pinaud Clubman Aftershave from the Tabasco bottle. Hope everyone has a great day!
