I was in Costco last night and got my first look at what BlueRay looks like. Holy shittsky that is one awesome picture! I haven't even bothered looking at them because I would never pay $400 for a DVD player. They are down to around $200 now, and I expect they will halve again before it's over. Still I gotta admit, I'm tempted....

 

Ummm, the tear gas could effect us unless we buy tear gas masks. Yes, yes, masks and night vision, I am off to the store.

I have a Blu-Ray. It rocks. I also have a entertainment syatem that ran me around 20 grand total (that is for the speakers and all too). You guys are welcome to come over this way and take it. But, if I catch you, I will tie you up and do things to you. Unspeakable things.................................

Or, we can just wait another month and have a big Daytona 500 party at my place!!

 

pre-2001, that invite would have me already on the road to your house...since Dale's death, it just hasn't been as exciting, but I still watch Daytona, Talledega, and Bristol events, sometimes others, but it's not "gotta see it" like it used to be

Jim, I 100% understand. Dales death was very hard on alot of people. Myself included. But, I figure that it would be a great dishonor to totally quit on NASCAR, even though it is not nearly the same without him.........

 

not much happenin in this neck o the woods, have a dr's appointment this afternoon, in which I'm expecting a good lecture about needing to lose weight.The next momentous thing to happen here is that we're switching to Directtv nextTuesday, getting the choice plus package with hd and dvr.
