I had the same feelings. Trust me. You notice the difference. The question you have to ask yourself is "do I care enough to spend the money to get that difference?" In my case the answer is yes, at the right price. I'm a "toys" guys. I love 'em and won't apologize for my addictions!

had my first shave with a slant today - a vintage Merkur. Not bad, but not "WOW!" either. I think I need to work on technique some.

Also showered with a Speick bath soap sample that arrived yesterday, part of a sample package from Shaving Essentials. Good stuffs.

Had some kick ass roast....been slow cooking all day Damn tasty! Rosemary, garlic, ton of onion, potatoes, cream of mushroom, celery, and a whole bunch of other stuff!
