OK, my last Black Friday purchase, which was the first one shipped and last to arrive. It came in yesterday, after the PO had marked it delivered a couple of days ago. The box was pretty damaged, but luckily, they pack the contents well, so nothing was damaged. I will say the Wholly Kaw customer service is about as good as it gets.

The base WK introduced with donkey milk a little bit ago is probably best post shave feel soap base I have tried except maybe Nuavia. This one includes donkey milk and water buffalo milk. The post shave feel is right there with the previous version, so this is a top notch performer. The scent is heavy on the bourbon vanilla out of the tub, but when it lathers, tobacco, woody, and earthy notes come through. It is a pretty nice scent. The AS doesn't have as much woodiness or earthiness coming out, much more bourbon vanilla and tobacco. There is even a bit of a sour cherry note to me when it is being applied, which is odd as there isn't any berry noted in the scent profile. As with all of my WK products, this one is a great product.

i won t buy the more expensive ones because i like what i have, but the travel brushes , special and commodore were under $100 bucks ..

Just placed an order at topofthechain.ca for Summer Break's History 101 A.S. Very high shipping price, but I'm now wondering if the Summer Break Soaps site shipping is higher(they said some of their products are sold on topofthechain for lower shipping). At topof.....it was on sale, so I now wonder if I really ended up saving $. But that's a good-looking A.S.(the soap too, of course). I may have been suckered here....hope not. I'll make it worth my while. I'll go to a different site for a "matching"soap...I want a lower shipping price.
