He makes some great leather and canvas products, and his videos are a mix between entertaining and informative. He's a really interesting guy, and he supports some very good causes. Be careful checking out his website or his YouTube channel unless you're ready to spend some money. I have several of his leather pieces and really like them.

Nice set up, John. Come to think of it, I don't believe I've ever done a one pass shave with a safety razor. Every cart shave was a one pass'er (didn't even know folks did more than that at the time), fwiw.
Great, entertaining write up, Bruce! The pic increased the enabling quotient, though.

What is the difference between the three band and two band.

John - because of the repeated use of letters, the C Gillette date code could be 1932, '57, or '82.

I liked your post Bruce. Then unliked it so I could like it again. :happy088:

No one ever accused me of being sensitive. Guess that includes my face. I like breaking in a new boar brush. Saw these horse hair brushes with a 3/4 inch loft. Might still order a couple just to try them out.

Chris, do you have any aftermarket replacement body parts currently installed? I get the Samurai (well, not Ninja but close), and now Pirate reference. If you are also Cyborg you've made the trifecta!

To my knowledge the 2 band is made from thicker hair and is often referred to as Finest by other makers. The 3 band is made from thinner hair and is often referred to as Silvertip by other makers. Again I am not that well versed in Thater brushes.

It worked for my sinuses so I figured it might work on to you. Must be the Euchaliptis in the green.

I miss going to the barber with my Dad. But I'll always have the memories.

Awesome pics Perry, Enjoy the break. Well deserved!

I chose to bust a massive Shave Fu multiquote in two. I'm contributing to the post inflation. :happy088:

Hoping so Jason. It's the old Hot Potato game. We're passed Round One and may be into second lap already. Too many players, and school kids are walking disease vectors.
I did try C.O.Bigelow and that brought me to Proraso Green tubbed soap. Good stuff! I haven't attempted Glacials yet. Keeping my tolerance low.
    Thank you Perry!
Thanks Bruce! Oh, we're far from "normal" but that's by choice.

I had fun as a kid going with my dad. It is more fun as a dad, though.

Ah, that was you Patrick! I offered my bottle of Osage Rub for a Vicks VapoRub alternative. The only missing ingredient is Camphor. I have those growing in the yard so I might try some leaves in a potpourri diffuser. The appropriate cautions & warnings were verbally expressed.

2 days growth, 2 new to me products. The Stirling South Padre and Lapas blades were given to me by COMPNOR in one of his generous pifs.
Shaved 12 hrs ago and by golly I'm still smooth.
Tested a few other blades in the Rockwell on plate 6 so I decided to do same with these . Results were just awesome. The Stirling South Padre took on a whole different scent after it was unwrapped and lathered.
Unsure of what to pair it with so I grabbed the skin Bracer and shot for the moon. Wow love it. The Muhle synth is a lovely brush I need to use more often. Thanks John@screwtape for that also. Generosity from pifs much appreciated!
