    Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: GEM PTFE
    Razor: GEM Micromatic
    Brush: Ever Ready 100T restored badger
    Soap: Stirling Ozark Mountain
    Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Ozark Mountain aftershave

    Great shave with the Micromatic. Another use of Ozark Mountain and another success. All Stirling all month so far other than The Fat. I'm traveling to Chicago next week and am trying to determine what shave soap to take. Might take a sample of Scots Pine Sheep that I got from @BaylorGator in the Shaveys. It's a wonderful soap also.

    Anyway, some errands to run and then Alice and Wilson go to an afternoon Christmas movie party. I'll need to wrap presents while they're gone. Great shaves, everyone!

    hello folks,sunday shave,just a 1 pass touch up today, trying the rr barrel 2 band again to dial it in.truefitt and hill west indian lime cream,lovely thick lather.gold tech with a nacet blade,mild comfy dfs..touch of thayers, and mont blanc legend to finish..absolutely lovely shave..have a great day, gary 20181216_090303.jpg

    My water is that crazy hard stuff. Deep well water from the water company water supply. I use a soft bristle tooth brush and Dawn dish soap, then a soft, dry wash cloth to dry it off.
    Hope I don't get any issues either.

    That a generally accepted method of cleaning off years of other peoples grunge from razors found in the wild. Choose either a new soft brush, or an old brush that's well broken in to avoid abrasive damage. There are some soaps that leave more film that others, but I tend to only give mine the Dawn & toothbrush treatment at blade change time.
