The shave this morning:

Karve
GSB
Thater
JOHS Bay Rum
Stirling Baker Street


Last day for the Karve (for at least a week). Starting tomorrow, the Rockwell will come out to play for a little bit. And, inspired by Perry’s @PLAla last couple of shaves, Stirling Ozark Mountain will be the pick for tomorrow.

The JOHS super-gooped into a delightful lather and provided plenty of goodness for a relaxing two pass shave, and a little bit of touch up. Carefully J-hooking around my nemesis got the area smoother than normal, without donating any blood. Drama free shave…no cuts, nicks, weepers, or irritation. Even the Baker Street didn’t give much of a sting today. It has a tendency of letting you know if you overdo the shave.

My wife is the other way around. She'd rather I grow a beard. Bummer for her that shaving became my hobby.

Thanks Jim, and Merry Christmas! I usually look for a way to stay out of photos. A friend caught us at church and snapped this one before I could think of an excuse.

Thank you, Bruce! I'll just write Santa a letter. I'd injure the poor guy if I tried to sit on his lap.

 

Well that's all that the products coming out of that particular building are good for in my book, and a lot of others too. Let A-B Inbev, as it's called now, make razor cleaner. The Schlafly Tap Room (and brewery) is where we go to celebrate and lift a glass of real beer to our clean razors.
