Guess you want most what you can't have. I would love to not shave for a while, well more than a couple days anyway. But it's not to be, I can grow a thick beard, and quick. I just can't stand the rough thing hanging on my face. My wiskers don't soften or lay down. It's awful at night trying to sleep with a scrub brush like beard on your jaws. The wife doesn't like the wirey thing either.
So I'm cursed to shave, for life.
But wet shaving has helped trumendously. I'm just thankful I found it before I bought the farm.
So if you can, enjoy the beard and be thankful for it.
Me, I will be at the sink in the morning, you know the rest.
    Thanks!!

    Stick beats the bowl .

    Great report Joseph.

Try scrubbing proraso off a razor. Ugh

Hope your day was good Jim.

    Beautiful pic Mark.

    Great shave Paul.

    Happy wrapping Perry.

I do a 1 passer now and again. Usually if I shave in morning.

    Awesome Gary, Enjoy your day.

Things can get nasty, I have red and green. Not much difference between soaps here:(

Most of the time, I use a soft tooth brush and liquid hand soap for routine razor cleaning. If I'm putting a razor away for awhile, I'll use Scrubbing Bubbles to make sure I clean all the nooks and crannies. Shave brushes occasionally get shampooed and conditioned. I've never had a problem with any of this.

No doubt, I definitely got the better end of the deal. (I really did, and I know it.) This photo is absolute proof that love is blind. :happy102:

I appreciate the kind words, Chris. Merry Christmas to your and your family, my friend.

Gary, you got me thinking. When those stainless Karves hit the postal system there's going to be brass units popping up in B/S/T...

Having been a shop foreman, and lumber yard manager going to kindergarten level can be a good thing. Assumed knowledge of your students can lead to problems if they don't know the basics.
(I copy/pasted the info to my permanent files. ;))
While I do enjoy a well smoked brisket, some of us are more refined when it comes to Urban Grilling.

It's been a busy weekend and I haven't spent any time on the computer on now.

I've settled in to the hotel in Aberdeen, MD where I will be until Friday. I think I went a bit overboard with packing shaving stuff, though... I ended up bringing three razors (New SC that I wanted to spend some time with, Otto Roth New LC that I recently acquired, and a parts bin Tech in case things go south with the other two), two of my go-to blades (German Wilkie and Dorco Prime Platinum) as well as a couple that Andrew sent me to try (Indian Wilkie and two types of Vi-John blade). For soap, I have Arko and the Nutragena French Milled Bath Soap from the hotel that has worked well for me before. And, of course, a synthetic brush. :)

That's a very nice travel set up, John. I really like those razor cases too. Have a great week.

    Actually, it's fairly simple:

    1 mega = 4 regular
    1 mega plus = 4.5 regular

The problem seems to be the "double plus" rolls which vary from 2.25 to 2.27 regular rolls.

The whole thing, though, seems some some post-apocalyptic related rates problem: A ration of food costs 11 rolls of toilet paper. What is the minimum number of rolls that you will need from your stash in order to obtain 3 rations?

I use blue dawn and a toothbrush after every shave , seems to clean razors well. The proraso tends to stick like glue though.
