    A nice, near BBS Monday morning shave. Hard to beat, and not a lot to report. The filter is courtesy of my middle daughter again. I hope everyone has a great day!

    Three passes with the Guerrilla left little for cleanup. A great daily shaver! This Shavemac Silvertip D01 still has outrageous backbone and used a mess o' R4L. Love that scent! No drama shave with a near BBS finish, this Orca is clean, super smooth, and invigorated. Happy Monday gents!

    Quick update...

    I ended up shaving last night just before bed: New SC with an Indian Wilkie and Arko. Took me a second to get the Arko going, but plenty of lather once I did. No issues with the New SC, so I'm now fairly certain that the cap swap didn't break anything. The Gillette (Indian) Wilkie seems to be a decent blade based on my first go with one. They appear to be cheap as chips, too. :)

    A nice BBS which is just starting to downgrade. A little irritation on my neck but that is to be expected with a new razor and blade combo plus a minimum of post-shave. (I may go out later and pick up some Alum deodorant at Walgreens.)

    Off to training... I'll peek in as I can throughout the day. :)

    True the vinegar, if the issue is build up of soap and hard water deposits.
    But if it's rust and or corosion, the penetrating oil seems to get the job done for me. I have had razors where the steel blade was rusted into it and the penetrating oil removed the rust with help from a tooth brush and a finger nail. I have had 2 razors that took penetrating oil to turn the handle. They are great razors now, a Gilette flair tip and a 50's super speed.
