Terrific shaves and photos, everyone! It's tough to keep up this month!

I'm flying to Chicago this morning and will come back on Saturday morning. Alice is going with me. She shops and I go to the conference but we meet for lunch and dinner and often meet up with other friends for dinner all around the city. Conference doesn't start until tomorrow so we'll do a little sight-seeing this afternoon before a big dinner at Gibson's Steakhouse.


Perhaps our most favorite meal is a group dinner each year at Girl and the Goat. Chef Stephanie Izard was on Top Chef a few years back. Incredible food!


Hopefully I can swing by Merz Apothecary and look at their shaving gear. The past two years I have refrained from buying anything but I've been able to smell a large variety of soaps and rule some things out. We'll see how it goes this year.

I'll check in when I can but most likely I'll be hundreds of posts behind very quickly. Oh well! That's what makes this corner of the interwebs so much fun!

 

"The doughnut of death" I love it! Sometimes those soaps can go on forever, I know I have several.

 

That's just wrong. Some folks just don't appreciate the finer things in life..

Thanks, and will do! I usually go to the smaller Merz location. There is a larger one right next door to Q Brothers, but it's not close to where we'll be. I could Uber out there but then I'd really feel compelled to buy something!

Thank you Bruce. Working out of my office today so things are not as intense. My real weakness in this hobby is brushes.

 

Mr. Scraper happens to like Clubman. After all, it was me who thought a Clubman air freshener would be a good idea!
